The team of speakers from the Center for Church Communication (CFCC)—Mark MacDonald, Phil Bowdle, Gerry True and Stephen Brewster—led the group through topics including social media, setting boundaries, web design, moving from print to digital, creativity and leadership. The feedback from the participants definitely showed that the Certification Lab was a success and everyone said they would gladly sign up again if offered the opportunity.
Perhaps the best thing about the Certification Lab are the relationships that are formed. Participants get a chance to network with like-minded communicators and creatives. And, the relationships aren’t just peer-to-peer; there are ongoing Google hangouts for six months following the Lab event and participants get year-long special access to the presenters.
